Vanessa Morman holds a BA in Broadcast Journalism from Wayland Baptist University out of Plainview, Texas. She also has an Associates degree in Radio Television Film, from San Antonio College where she was also a disc jockey for KSYM College Radio stations early morning jazz rotation. Morman is the founder and Executive Director of the Houston Black Film Festival.
